I just received an email from an unknown sender and it is too good to miss. I had to share it with you guys. It states some facts regarding Bill Gates, the Richest person on earth and founder of Microsoft - the software giant. Here is what the email said about Bill Gates:

What can you possibly do with an iPhone? Play games, surf the internet, listen to music, take photos and of course make phone calls. But it is just amazing to see what Joshua Ziering has used iPhone for. He took an iPhone, a radio-controlled helicopter, a Wi-Fi router and mixed it up with the iPhone’s accelerometer and touch interface to built a R/C helicopter controller. New Alien VS Predator Video GameOne of the most anticipated FPS games of this year, the new Alien vs. predator has now been confirmed and detailed by SEGA. Alein vs. predator is the first title of the four titles in SEGA’s forthcoming series of Aliens games licensed by Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising. The game is developed at Rebellion by the same team that was responsible for the original classic of 1999. It is set to be released on PCs, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Sounds interesting, doesn’t it?. The work of this iPhone controlled R2-D2 robot is still progress though it can be fully controlled with a standard remote as of now. But, the creator is working on making it 100% controllable using the iPhone’s interface. For now, only the servo and the dome motor can be controlled using iPhone’s accelerometer and slider control on the touch screen of iPhone. The maker of this iPhone controllable R2-D2 robot plans to make the Dome motor, Feet motors, Holo servo, door panel servos, JEDI system control (lights), Periscope , Lifeform scanner etc. controllable using just the iPhone and he is working on it. Other touch screen controls are possible too such as rotary controls, buttons, XY controls, and multitouch as well as gestures. One should be able to interface with the J.E.D.I display as well and type in text messages in the iPhone that will scroll across the front or rear logic displays. We saw a parade of developers showing off fancy new iPhone 3.0 apps on stage today. Lets take a look at what was unveiled, shall we?

TomTom Turn-by-Turn Directions—Not only did TomTom announce an app for turn-by-turn directions, but they also announced an accessory for the iPhone that sticks to your windshield. It's got a speaker and mic built in for the voice to tell you directions and you to talk to it to ask for directions while also enhancing the GPS signal. Coming this summer.
ScrollMotion's Iceberg Book Store—This is a Kindle competitor that'll offer over 1,000,000 books for download at launch, including textbooks by Houton Mifflin, Harcourt and McGraw Hill, as well as 50 magazines and 170 daily newspapers.
AirStrip—Get excited, doctors! This app lets you stream a patients EKG over 3G, which is downright nuts. You can also zoom in and replay "cardiac events," which are the kind of events you never want to have.
Star Defense—From ngmoco, it's a tower defense game that looks a lot like Super Mario Galaxy. It's available right now for $5.99. Here's Kotaku's review of it.
Pasco—This is an app for doing science experiments.
ZipCar—The ZipCar app lets you find nearby ZipCar lots, see what cars are available there and make reservations. Even cooler? Once you book your car, you can unlock it using your iPhone. Pretty awesome. More at Jalopnik.
